We are originally from Barcelona (Catalonia, Spain) but we currently live in
San Diego (California, USA). We enjoy all kind of outdoor activities like
hiking, canyoneering, mountain biking, sea kayaking, backcountry skiing,
etc. We also love traveling and discovering new places.
The Pirenees were our most frequent playground when we lived in Barcelona. That's where we developed our passion and respect for nature. When we moved to San Diego, we got addicted to the US National Parks and the Sea of Cortez in Baja California.
Our preferred vacation style is traveling by bicycle in places with a mix of cultural interest and natural beauty. We've been in many countries: Tibet, New Zealand, Patagonia, Indonesia, Iceland, Madagascar, Peru, Yucatán, Morroco... Traveling by bike gives you the opportunity to feel the surroundings and get closer to their people.
Until
now, our trips have been just a few weeks long but in January 2011, we flew
to South America for a year-long bicycle ride. Our starting was is Ushuaia, at the very
southern tip of the continent and we headed north following the Andes.
No rush this time. Just ride to enjoy the people and the
places. Best decision ever!!
